Medal, Plaquette, 1926, Bronze, France. BENEDICINE by George Henry Prudhomme. Uniface. Size: 71mm x 94mm. Benedicine old woman seated in chair left, offering a prayer of thanks before eating soup from a bowl. Ref: (CGMP p.331. Obverse illustrated on the Plates; this was first issued privately as a cast plaque in 1906 (BDM IV, 706; Gaz. Num. 1909, p.241, 60). Scarce and Attractive.
