Medal, Plaquette, 1940-1945, Bronze, Belgium. LIBERATION - JAMBE RECONNAISSANTE AUX MEILLEURS DE SES ENFANTS, by Pierre De Soete (186-1948). Size: 70mm x 50mm. Obv. Prisoner behind barbed wire carrying loan, Soldier looking on, another cutting barbed wife and hand at upper right holding wreaths, legend below; Rv. Town with view of Bridge, nazi swastika with foot trampling it below. Purchased in France.
