Medal, Circular Plaquette, c.1930-1931 (during International Colonial Exposition in Paris), Bronze, France. Unsigned Bronze Maquette or Pattern, THE SHAMAN (Exceptional and Unique). Obv. Stylized Figure of a Shaman within rectangular frame design, plain around edges. A Striking and Haunting Portrait; Rv. Plain (lost wax cast bronze). Size: 148.64 mm (approx. 6 inches). High Relief and exceptional piece. Purchased in France. Anthropomorphism is also a type of personification that gives human characteristics to non-humans or objects especially animals. However, there is a slight difference between these two. Personification is an act of giving human characteristics to animals or objects to create imagery, while anthropomorphism aims to make an animal or object behave and appear like they are human beings. Analysis: ‘Where does hair go when you go bald?’ ‘How can the city control illegal bicycle parking?’ These are just some of the questions that this Shaman can answer. But he only talks to me.
