Portrait of Pius XII left, Vatican Logo, RTD Monogram Signature of Medallist, legend below Pope Pius XII. Bas Relief Cast Plaquette with integral loop on back for hanging if desired. Approx 8 x 10 inches. From the collection of Jonathan Brecher (Co-editor of the 2nd edition of the standard catalog of So-Called Dollars). Pope Pius XII, born Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli, reigned from 2 March 1939 to his death in 1958.
