Medal, Plaquette, 1937, Cast Bronze, France. EDMOND LESNE, PEDIATRICIAN (MEDICAL) by Zanic Armel Beaufils (1892-1978) for Arthus-Bertrand. Obv. Portrait bust left, Edmond Lesne in tablet lower right; Rv. hand cradles a baby’s head and shoulders, Medallists signature bottom right. Size: 80mm x 59mm. Weight: 262 Grams. (cf. DNW 56, 832). A sculptural medal, wonderful lines and texture, extremely rare. Purchased in France.
