Medal, Plaquette, 1932, Bronze, Hungary. NATIONAL COUNCIL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, COMPETITION by Medallist Beck Odon Philippines (Fulop) Born 1873, Died 1945. Hungarian Sculptor, Medallist, Won the Millennium Exhibition Medal in Paris, 1900; Grand Prix in Milan, 1906, Many of his works sit in Museums, he created major sculptures and several tombs. Died or Disappeared Trying to Evade the Nazi's in 1944/1945. Obv. Two standing Males, one with Sabre hanging from waist, extending laurel branch and award to second male accepting, date 1932 lower r, Medallist signature left edge; Rv. BALATONI VERSENYEK, view of the sea and hills, clouds, with 3 sail boats in water, below: Orsz - Testnevelesi-Tanacs. Scarce and Attractive.
