Medal, Plaquette, c.1920, Bronze, France. CHAMBRE SYNDICALE (BUILDING INDUSTRY) contractors, masonry, cement and concrete in the city of Paris and the Department of the Seine. Size: 76mm x 50mm. Obv. Center tablet with Female sitting, trees and outdoors scene around, branch with leaves above, curved top with legend Chambre Syndicale Des Entrepreneurs de Maconnerie Ciments et Beton Arme. Left and right leaves with alternating banner legends, De Laville de Paris, , et du, Departide la Seine, signature of medallist at bottom (Baudichon); Rv. Brance with leaves and berries to left, no inscription. Scarce and Attractive. René Baudichon was a French sculptor and medallist. The artist was born in Tours, France, studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in his native town, and graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Born: 1878, France. Died: 1963
