Clement was a prominent Doctor in Lyon Medicine, Médecin à l'Hôtel-Dieu, puis à l'Hôpital Saint-Joseph, Lyon. - Responsable de l'enseignement de sémiologie médicale puis de médecine légale à la Faculté de médecine de Lyon. Obv. Portrait bust of Clement looking right, name below, medallist signature along right edge, Rv. 28 Line Inscription about his achievements and awards, awarded medal from his son, Hugues. Size: 50mm x 72mm. Purchased in France. Attractive. (One can glean the tremendous love and high esteem placed on Etienne by his son…. I cannot recall any other medal plaquette with such a lengthy and detailed inscription.
