Medal, Plaquette, 1938, Bronze, Sweden. Presentation Medal, DAGENS NYHETER NEWSPAPER (Today's News), by Carl Fagerberg (1878 - 1948). Signed by Medallist. Vintage bronze plaque of a running Nude Male blowing Horn, Sun and Clouds below, Dagens Nyheter legend below; Rv. Inscription: 1st PRIS ÅRSSIMNINGEN 1938 and "M. Bergman" (mint). This plaque is a presentation piece given by the Swedish Daily Newspaper and the inscription thanks the awardee for help in Dagen Nyheter's 6 day race. It is in its original box. It is 4" by 2.9". Medal weighs 139 Grams. Attractive.
