Medal, Plaquette, 1921, Bronze, Belgium. LT. COL. BARON JACQUES, MILITARY CAMPAIGN HONORS, by medallist Eugene Bremaecker. Size: 47.59mm x 69.72mm, Weight 2.966 ounces or 84.1 Grams). Obv. Portrait of Jacques looking left, signature of medallist at bottom/truncation and tiny 1921, name and rank below; Rv. Campagne Arabe 1892: Toa Pala, Campagne De 1914-1918, Over De Vaart, Dixmude, Merckem, Crete De Staden, with ornate Coat of Arms/insignia in center, soldiers with shields and flags, crossed swords. The medal has gorgeous medium brown color and sharp well detailed surfaces. Medallist: Eugene J. de Bremaecker was a sculptor and medalist, born in Brussels on 14 July 1879 and died in Ixelles on 18 January 1963.
