Size: 2-5/8 inches wide by 2-5/8 inches high. Weight 175.1 grams. Obv. UNIVERSAL EXPOSITION SAINT LOUIS UNITED STATES OF AMERICA/ MCMIV; Columbia, standing next to Louisiana territory personified; Rv. COMMEMORATIVE LOUISIANA PURCHASE EXPOSITION; eagle with spread wings, standing on plaque over two dolphins. All LPE medals were designed by Adolph Alexander Weinman (December 11, 1870 – August 8, 1952) and struck by the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia. Attractive.
