View Coin Musante GW-59 United States BRONZE POST-1859 GW-59 SANSOM MEDAL, 1st REISSUE PCGS MS 64 Brown Musante GW-59; Baker-72A; Julian PR-1. Rarity 5. Struck in bronze. Fully struck with a golden-brown obverse and a more reddish-brown reverse. A quality piece.
View Coin DeLorey-99 United States T.ELDER ISSUE DELOREY-99 - AL More Artistic Silver Coinage PCGS MS 63 DeLorey-99; Baker-728B. Struck in aluminum with a plain edge. 32 mm. Thomas L. Elder store card advocating for "more artistic silver coinage". Obverse Washington bust per Robert Lovett. Boldly proof-like, although for some unknown reason not designated as such on the PCGS insert. This piece displays only minor silver-white toning in the fields.

Only 10 pieces struck.
View Coin DeLorey-100 United States Aluminum ND T.ELDER ISSUE DELOREY-100, AL First in Peace / First in Preparedness PCGS MS 63 DeLorey-100; Baker-unlisted. Struck in aluminum with a plain edge. 32 mm. Thomas L. Elder store card. Obverse Washington bust per Robert Lovett. Boldly proof-like, although for some unknown reason not designated as such on the PCGS insert. This piece displays only minor silver-white toning in the fields. By far the nicest of these pieces I have seen.
View Coin Musante GW-130-R2 United States WM (c.1858) GW-130-R2 PHILA CIVIC PROCESSION 2nd RESTRIKE NGC MS 63
View Coin Musante GW-130-R2 United States WM (c.1858) GW-130-R2 PHILA CIVIC PROCESSION 2nd RESTRIKE NGC MS 63 Musante GW-130-R2; Baker-160F. Second restrike. 32 mm. I believe this to be the lead restrike as it was struck on a thick planchet with only a single reverse die break, both indicators that this is the scarce lead striking noted by both Musante and Baker. NGC lists this on the insert as "white-metal", under which lead falls. Also, it has the appearance of lead with a uniform blue-gray color as opposed to the more typical "white" color of (non-lead) white metal.
View Coin Musante GW-130-R2 United States WM (c.1858) GW-130-R2 PHILA CIVIC PROCESSION 2nd RESTRIKE NGC MS 61 Musante GW-130-R2; Baker-160F. Second restrike as indicated by the multiple significant reverse die cracks. Struck in white metal. 32 mm. As is typical, the strike is a bit soft in the very center of each side. Otherwise there is little in the way of post-production contact. Each side displays very slight gold-gray coloration atop bright surfaces. The reverse is rotated about 30 degree out of coin-turn alignment. Nice for the assigned grade.
View Coin Musante GW-236 United States WM (c.1870) GW-236 WASHINGTON - 3rd OBV. NOT TRANSFERABLE NGC MS 64 Musante GW-236; Baker-636B; Miller-Ala 26C. Struck in white metal with a plain edge. 28 mm. By Frederick C. Key and George Hampden Lovett. Third obverse. Silvery-white patina atop almost proof-like surfaces. Only 15 struck.

Ex: Donald G. Partrick.

With only ten pieces in the series one might think it is easy to assemble the entire collection but finding all ten can be deceivingly challenging.

Struck in bronze with a plain edge. 44 mm. Designed by E. A. Kretschman. The obverse is toned a lightly golden brown with iridescent highlights, while the reverse is a more reddish-brown. A beautiful red-walnut coloration adorns this very elusive issue which was unknown to Baker. A small planchet defect appears on the obverse field after U.S. and can be used to pedigree this piece (although I doubt you will find another given its extreme rarity). The only piece graded at either service.
View Coin Musante GW-1126 United States WM (1889) GW-1126 NEW YORK CITY SEAL 1st OBVERSE PCGS MS 62 Musante GW-1126; Douglas-42A. Struck in white metal with a plain edge. 34 mm. First obverse. By George T. Morgan. Silver and gray patina with some darker gray found in Washington's hair.

View Coin Musante GW-1134 United States WM 1889 GW-1134 WASHINGTON TAKING OATH INAUGURATION CENTENNIAL PCGS MS 62 Musante GW-1134; Douglas-48. Struck in white metal with a plain edge. 51 mm. By William H. Key. Lightly toned in shades of silver-gray with appreciably reflective fields, especially on the reverse. A pair of carbon spots are noted on the Oath side of the piece. Encased in an over-sized 4"X5" PCGS holder.
View Coin Musante GW-1144 United States AR/CU 1889 GW-1144 NEW YORK BADGE PCGS MS 62 Musante-1144; Douglas-40B; Collin-422. Struck in silvered copper. 50mm round; 53mm tip to tip. High relief design. Maker mark on the reverse reads C. G. Braxmar / 36 Cortlandt St. / New York. Original toning with bluish-gray hints. Very nice for the assigned grade as the design side is virtually as-made. Would appear the assigned grade was for a few widely scattered points of contact on the non-design side. The design side definitely deserves a higher grade. Encased in an oversized 4" X 5.5" PCGS holder

The only piece certified at either grading service.
View Coin Baker-1825 United States 40mm (1904) B-1825 WASHINGTON MONUMENT ASSOC FOREMOST FARMER NGC MS 65 Baker-18285. Struck in bronze with a plain edge. 40 mm. Well struck, fully rendered design elements with light golden highlights and a small dusting of widely scattered fly specks.
