Owner Comments:

Musante GW-1117; Baker-unlisted. Struck in copper with a plain edge. 19 mm. A beautiful red-walnut coloration adorns this very elusive issue which was unknown to Baker. A small planchet defect appears on the obverse field after U.S. and can be used to pedigree this piece (although I doubt you will find another given its extreme rarity). The only piece graded at either service.
