Owner Comments:
THERE ARE ONLY TWO WHITE MEDAL EXAMPLES LISTED IN THE NGC CENSUS AS OF 9/2023.
I DIFFER WITH NGC ABOUT THE CLEANED DESIGNATION. PLEASE VIEW THE HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURES OF THE UNGRADED MEDAL. IT APPEARS TO ME TO BE A LOW 60'S UNCIRCULATED MEDAL WITH SOME HANDLING MARKS, BUT I DON'T SEE ANY SIGNS OF CLEANING.
THERE HAVE BEEN NONE SOLD BY HERITAGE AUCTIONS IN WHITE METAL.
THERE HAVE BEEN 2 WHITE METAL EXAMPLES SOLD BY STACKS BOWERS, A PCGS SP 65 UNHOLED SOLD FOR $1,140.00 IN 2019, AND A PCGS SP 64 HOLED SOLD FOR $552 IN 2019.
THESE TWO ARE THE ONLY EXAMPLES LISTED ON PCGS'S POP REPORT AS OF 9/2023.
Obverse: George Washington bust in center, with surrounding "President of the Constitutional Convention" and the date *1787* below.
Reverse: Capitol Building in center with surrounding "Constitutional Centennial" around top, below "Philadelphia Sep. 17, 1887".
