I tried hard to get one of these coins, and finally accomplished the mission through a Spink auction in July 2021. They initially listed it with an estimate of 350 pounds and when my bid was for 2500 pounds a month before the auction they emailed to ask if I'd made a mistake! After I foolishy justified my bid based on recent auction results they amended the auction description to "extremely rare!" and upped the estimate.

This came back as MS62+. There are two varieties for 1916: "regular" and "Bosnian arms in shield." This coin is the latter. There are 5 including this coin graded by NGC of the Bosnian arms in shield variety and this is the only one in any mint state the next 2 in AU58. Of the regular variety there is one in MS64 At PCGS there is one graded in MS61 and no others in any variety.
