THIS IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE LISTED IN THE NGC CENSUS AS OF 9/2023. G.M. WHEELER REVERSE 6L TYPE.

G.M. Wheeler was used as a trade name used on pocket watch movements manufacturered by Elgin. George M. Wheeler was Secretary of the National Watch Company when it was organized in 1866. He was later elevated to Secretary and Treasurer of the company.

The Elgin National Watch Co. manufactured watches in Elgin, Illinois from approximately 1864 to 1968.
