Owner Comments:
Melbourne Mint. Mintage 5,141,000. About 9/10 of a US Quarter in actual silver content. You needed 20 of these to get a gold pound, which was about equivalent to a US gold $5 coin.
16 graded higher by PCGS
(27 others in MS64 at PCGS, with 2 more MS64+, 11 in MS65, 2 in MS66, and 1 in MS66+)
2 graded higher by NGC
But not any more because I have had this re-holdered at NGC, and it was graded just MS-63 by them. NGC reports 4 in MS-63 including this coin, and 5 in higher grades.
