Medal, Plaquette, 1909-1934, Bronze, France. AUGUSTE FREDERIC MARIN, MAYOR, MAIRE DE ST MAUR, Portrait Medal by Henri Dropsy (1885-1969), in original case (dans son ecrin). Commemorating 25 years as Mayor (25 annoys de mandate). Size: 74mm x 55mm. Obv. Portrait Bust of Auguste Marin, wearing glasses and in suit, looking left, name below, medallist signature along right edge; Rv. Coat of Arms or Insignia of Town, Inscriptions, dates 1909-1934. Purchased in Paris, France. August Marin went on to remain mayor of the community for many years after this 25th commemoration.
