Medal, Plaquette, 1689-1939, Bronze, Sweden, HUSQVARNA ARMS FACTORY 250th ANNIVERSARY. Size: 72mm x 53mm. Weight: 120 Grams. Made by the old Sporrong company. Obv. Scene of original arms factory with Busts of Erik Dahlberg and Wilhelm Than in framed circles at bottom, and the name Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag, the original company manufacturing small arms. Husqvarna was originally a military arsenal founded in 1689 to produce muskets for the Swedish Army. Rv. blank except for the manufacturing company, Sporrong of Sweden. Purchased from Vladimir Birloukov.
