Allegorical figure of Light guiding Columbus steering vessel. Guanahane, Oct 12, 1492, Columbus Steering Vessal Guided by Light; Rv. Ediface with Eagle above, Chicago World's Fair 1893, below, 51mm. Ex Goldberg #75, Lot 1946, Ex Hoffman Collection of World's Columbian Exposition Medals. Same obverse as white medal version, but different reverse, and this Bonze version may be rarer than white metal issue. Housed in custom acryilic holder with NGC photo-certificate. One of the finest known.
