Set Description
This set includes "coins" that were restruck by Robert Bashlow from dies used by the Confederate States for pattern coins with the intention of minting these coins for the CSA for general use. The dies were later used after the Civil War to mint small quantities but were then defaced. These dies were later used by Robert Bashlow in 1961 to restrike a small quantity of coins in silver, Bronze and goldine. The set also includes the 1861-O (New Orleans) Seated Liberty Half Dollar, which was the only coin minted by three governments - the United States, the Republic of Louisiana and the Confederate States of America.

Set Goals
To collect samples of all coins that represent the intention of the Confederate States of America to produce circulating coins.
