View Coin 1822 MoJM Iturbide 1/2 REAL MEXICO - TO 1823 1/2R 1822MO JM NGC MS 64 Delightful near gem little coin. Crown pointing to "A" variety.

From the sale's catalogue: "Augustin I Iturbide 1/2 Real 1822 Mo-JM, KM301, MS64 NGC. A most appealing example of this elusive type with aged gray patina and flashes of underlying mint luster. Very scarce in Mint State. This coin exhibits strong original eye appeal."

As of September 2014, NGC has 5 on 65 and 1 on 66. None higher by PCGS.

From the sale's catalogue: "Augustin Iturbide 1/2 Real 1823 Mo-JM MS64 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM301. A phenomenal example of this issue featuring the bust of Iturbide with full-bodied luster and boldly-struck design elements".

Very scarce but slightly less than the 1822 specimen.

As of September 2015, NGC has 2 graded in MS64, 3 graded in MS65, and 2 in MS66.
