Spain Gold 25 Pesetas Overdates (1882/1, 1883/2)

Set Description
Gold 25 Pesetas with overdates ("sobrefechas") for 1882/1 and 1883/2 are listed in each of the two complete Spanish coin reference guides, Xavier Calicó’s “Numismática Española 1474 a 2001” (p. 826) and Adolfo, Clemente y Juan Cayón’s “Las Monedas Españolas del Tremis al Euro” (vol. 2, p. 1336).

These two overdates are not listed in the major international reference guides, notably Krause-Mishler and Schlumberger, which tend to be more restrictive in their recognition of varieties.
