The difference between the re-strike and the first mintage is that the re-strike rev has circular marks and thinner letters. The tail of the kangaroo is thinner. The Obverse ear of King Edward is not defined / complete and lacks the detail of the original.

In saying this, there are several other books that have the same prefix in reference numbers - perhaps Giordano did not realize some of his reference numbers clashed with a previously printed numismatic book.
Mintage indicated of a 1,000 but collectors believe 500 only.
