Outstanding early Jefferson nickel with great luster and strong strike. The top 3 steps of Monticello are nearly full (fuzzy in center) and step 4 is visible at sides. Much of coin is bathed in light pink and pink-gold toning. Only a few light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade. Gorgeous Jefferson "Reverse of 1940" nickel with very nice luster. Strike is very strong with full steps; tiny scuff on right center side of steps appears to be only reason for not receiving full steps designation. Some of obverse along lower rim and all of reverse along rim is bathed in beautiful light blue-gray toning. Only a few light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade.
