Owner Comments
Outstanding Panama silver 10 centesimos with excellent luster and strong strike. Coin is grade UNC DETAILS - Surface Hairlines. Obverse is about 50% toned (mostly along rim) in light to medium gold and dark blue. Reverse is about 90% toned in light to medium gold and gray and dark blue-green. Obverse may have been cleaned long ago (due to untoned central area) and has retoned. No evidence of hairlines as far as I can see. Bag marks are equivalent to MS64/65 grade. Cost: $24.24 on 3/4/14 on eBay from Biagi PTC (ufomechanix).
Mintage: 1,125,000. Composition: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 22 mm. Weight: 5.00 grams. Series: KM#3.
Obverse: Armored bust left. Reverse: National coat of arms. Mint: Philadelphia (USA).
NumisMaster estimated value as of purchase date: $40.00 in XF40, $120.00 in MS60 (closest grades available).
