Owner's Description

United States Coinage Kennedy Half Dollar 1998-S Matte Finish PF-69 Census - 1362 NGC graded coins - 996 with this grade - 308 graded higher This coin was included in the 1998 two coin commemorative set for RFK. This set contained an RFK commemorative dollar and this matte finish JFK half dollar. The only way to acquire a specimen with this finish was to purchase the two coin commemorative set. The commemorative set I purchased was at a “backwoods country auction” up here in Vermont. I got the set at a dirt cheap price and after selling the RFK dollar on eBay I was in this coin at no cost.
