Colonial Coinage Kentucky Copper or the “STARRY PYRAMID HALFPENCE” No Date (Between 1792 & 1796) Plain Edge Census - 105 NGC graded coins - 9 with this grade - 85 graded higher Obv. Legend = UNANIMITY IS THE STRENGTH OF SOCIETY Design = Hand holding a scroll which reads OUR CAUSE IS JUST Rev. Legend = E PLURIBUS UNUM ‘Out of many, one.’ Design = A pyramid constructed of 15 blazing suns or stars each with the initial(s) for one of the first 15 states. It is believed these were ordered from Westwood’s Birmingham England mint. The order is believed to have come from the United States but who placed the order is unknown This coin cost me $180
