CATALOG NUMBER: Pritchard CL256-5b RARITY: More than 75 Known TOKEN DESCRIPTION: (Brass, 21mm, Round) OBVERSE: Fremont Trading Co. / Climax, / Colo. / Sachs-Lawler / Denver REVERSE: Good for / 5ยข / in Trade (Cent w/ line) HISTORICAL TOWN/CITY DESCRIPTION: (CLIMAX, CO) "Climax had the distinction of having a post office and railroad station at the highest elevation in the United States. The town didn't achieve much importance until the early 1900's when molybdenum was discovered. At one time Climax produced as much as 3/4 of the world's molybdenum" -- Stuart Pritchard
