Owner's Description
One word - Kirby. Can't really have a collection of Headline Comics with out having issue #37. It's not the lowest graded one so I won't have to upgrade it as I'm happy just to have one. There are 19 graded copies with 4 in this grade, 5 lower, and the rest higher.

This 1949 Pre-Code Crime comic is notable for featuring a Jack Kirby photo cover, depicting the artist as a gun-toting crook being taken down by the cops. This is perhaps the only known photo cover of Kirby from the Golden Age and this book has become much more sought-after in recent years. The offered example is a solid middle grade CGC 5.0.
