Owner's Description

Kitty Pryde joins X-Men. Alpha Flight appearance. Wolverine dons new costume. 1st appearance of Heather Hudson. Whom I presume is the daughter of the Alpha Flight member the Vindicator or Guardian, or otherwise known aliases. Always proactive the members of both the X-men and Alpha Flight take the roster to help each other, when they're not trying to recruit or exercise authority over each other, but mostly are found on the "same side!" Kitty Pryde is another innocent that can't leave well enough alone sometimes and finds herself on the business end of needing rescued; although, on several occasions she has helped the X-men out of a jam, especially the Wolverine. She is sisterly/brotherly in character and attitude with the Nightcrawler; although, not at first, but she has the "hots" for Colossus! Bought off of eBay for $96 shipped, I scooped it up straight away, as a 9.4 is very appealing for the registry and the collection. Glad to have found it at a comfortable price, with white pages!

Complete with a back cover picture of Jim Lee artwork showing the original "Blue & Yellow" costume of the Wolverine! Jim drew the new "BROWN COSTUME" (1st featured in this issue of X-Men #139) for the Wolverine, in the "classic cover" of issue #1 from the 1991 series, which carried on the tradition for another generation! With the brown costume chosen to carry over to a new series and decade, I would say Jim Lee did it famously and keeping truer to the 80s & 90s!

Grader Notes;
light spine stress lines to cover.
