This is the time when I was young and impressionable to gleam wide eyed and open minded. With animated series galore, I was still finding out what the past held to learn from and be intrigued by, it was fun! Full of experimental art, be it digital coloring, or even just a new style of ink, shading, and penciling. Times were akin to pumping it out and meeting deadlines, as always, yet these new to the industry artist and creators were already finding a stride that held fast to the future.
Elektra is electric and almost as elated as Thor picking up a hammer for the 1st time, Copper Age is Here! Many 1sts from the time of the 80's and where many a speculator and newsstands abounded.
The Copper Age! Everyone was securing their prosperity and financial futures within the comic universe, with artists and writers, along with creators as well. It trickled over into the start of what is still now called the "modern age", but the sentiment was still there or here with Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, and others that were walking tall. With printing and color techniques for this age, and when compared to the modern computer technology, it had a "way" to go. It didn't lose too much in the way compared to the Bronze Age but was more fun for me actually being alive at this point! Living as it was happening and being distributed provided fodder for discipline and learning, as well the hype and understanding of what we call today the, "fear of missing out!" With comic's steady rise in popularity, it didn't take much cause to hook us readers and newer fan boys! They were popping!
