Set Description
With the heightened popularity of so called “Low Ball” registry sets it has become increasingly difficult to fill rare variety, key date, and low mintage spots in the Morgan Dollar series with poorly graded, cost effective examples. Often times these examples command a premium over their slightly higher graded counterparts as people attempt to complete their “Low Ball” sets. The rarest of the rare will always be hard to come by, but genuine, “details graded” examples can offer a more obtainable alternative to numerically graded coins. This set is all about finding the best of the worst by focusing on the highest detail grade— uncirculated— for each of the NGC listed surface condition descriptors.
