MEMCollector's 1909 Date Set

Set Description
A set of all US coins minted in 1909. My parents were both born in 1909 and this set was started in their memory many years ago. It is a very interesting year in U.S. numismatics...the last year of production for the New Orleans mint and the transition year for one cent pieces from Indian head to Lincoln. NINE different pennies in one year!!

Set Goals
I still am saving up for the proof Lincoln VDB (the king of the Lincolns) and will acquire one soon. The proof gold pieces are currently astronomically expensive...maybe one day.
