Beneath this design in an oval are the Arms of the City of Dundee: (Azure, a pot of growing lilies argent), Crest: (A lily argent), Supporters: (Two Wyverns[sometimes erroneously called dragons even by heraldic authors] vert, their tails knotted together below the shield), and motto: "Dei Donum.". The scale is too small to render the tinctures of the Wyverns. Beneath the buildings on the left is "Wright Jun." and to the right "Des."
