World's Columbian Expo Elongated Liberty Nickels

Set Description
The World's Columbian Exposition was a world's fair held in Chicago in 1893 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' arrival in the New World in 1492.

Although an example of an elongated coin is rumored to have been produced some years earlier, it is generally accepted that these tokens were first made during the 1892-1893 World's Columbian Exposition. There were five different designs utilized during that event. These are detailed in the book Yesterday's Elongateds by Lee Martin and Dottie Dow.

Set Goals
To complete a date set of Liberty Nickels elongated at the 1893 Columbian Expo. This would include the dates 1883 - 1893. As with the regular series, it would appear 1885 is the key date. I have also found that the 1883 With Cents is more common than the 1883 No Cents. Given this is only 10 years since the release and many were pulled from circulation thinking they would be recalled, this should be the case.
