VIntage Modern Proofs 1936-1942, pre WWII

Set Description
There are registry catagories for both annual proof sets and type proof sets already. However, a unique time in numismatic history was the proof mintage of coins between 1936-1942. Proof mintages were then suspended in 1942 due to WWII efforts, and not reinstated until 1950. During this pre war time period there was a transition from the Buffalo nickel to the Jefferson nickel and several varieties were minted. There were several varieties of Lincoln Cents, as well.

Set Goals
This is a broad set including all high grade proofs, including varieties, of proof coins in the 7 years between 1936-1942. In its entirety, this is probably the finest assembled group of 36-42 proofs.
Although there are only 5 demoninations per year, several varieties exist for some of the cents and nickels, as well as the 1941 Walking Liberty half dollar. The goal of this set is to show top NGC examples of each, and display 1936-42 proof coinage in the entirety.
