The Malaysia one Ringgit Parliament coin series was the first one ringgit circulated copper-nickel coin issued by BNM, started in 1971, followed by 1980, 1981 ,1982, 1984, 1985 and last in 1986.
Selected this 1982 issued to represent this Parliament series, for its lowest recorded mintage of 201,550 pcs among all the other years on record.
