The reverse designs of the 1951 denominations were all changed but such changes were only made in the inscription of the design. The font of the inscription was changed and so too was the manner in which the denomination was depicted in the design. The languages were also swapped around with Afrikaans first and English second for denominations Farthing, Penny, Sixpence, 2 Shillings and 5 Shillings. This reverse design remained in use up to and including 1960 save for the crown in 1952 & 1960.
