This 1973 medal featured the cojoined bust of Patrick Henry and Samuel Adams. Henry is well known for his "Give me liberty or give me death" speech, while Adams is best described as being a patriotic firebrand of his day. The reverse paid homage to the Committees of Correspondence. These committees were formed prior to the Continental Congress in 1774, and their members shared information among themselves regarding such things as British military movements and various espionage.

This bronze medal is undated, came in PNC packaging (Philatelic-Numismatic Combinations), achieved a Top Pop grade of MS 67, and is sealed in the original US Mint "soft pack" with a white plastic token.
