JNDA 01-10A. The silver 'new type' one yen with the dragon obverse and denomination reverse but a now reduced diameter vs. its predecessor. The weight and silver content remain the same. This is the final type of silver one yen produced, extending from the Meiji reign and includes this single year of production in the Taisho era. The coins were intended for overseas use only and were not monetized for domestic use.
Diameter 38.1mm, 0.900 fine silver, weight 26.96 grams.
