Medal, 1821, AR, LYON FARMING CORPORATION / ROZIER, France. NGC MS62, Cert# 2776991-022. Medallist: Lillart, a die-sinker in Lyons, created this "Award" Medal. Weighs 13.5g, Size: 34 mm. Societe D'Agriculture Histoire Naturelle Et Arts Utiles De Lyon. Bust Left, Jean Francois Rozier, 1821 Date, Rv. Farm Field, Implement and Sun Rays. Legend: Instituee En M.DCC.LXI. Rozier, born in 1754, was a French Chemistry and Physics teacher who co-invented the aerial ballon. He and his partner were the first two people to be killed in an air crash when he attempted to balloon across the English Channel in 1785.
