1873 20 Kronor - Design: OBVERSE: King Christian IX ~ REVERSE: Seated female figure "Dania". Dania represents the spirit of the nation. Her shield carries the Danish arms, three crowned blue lions on a golden ground w/ scattered red hearts. At her feet is a dolphin which is an ancient omen of good luck and fair weather. The HC on the truncation of the head are the initials of the engraver, Harald Conradsen. The CS right of the date is the intials of the mintmaster, Christian Svendsen.
