Medal, 1710, Copper, QUEEN ANNE DUOAY TAKEN, Great Britain, NGC MS62BN, Cert# 3349881-018. Catalog: MI-369,213; Eimer- 443. Medal by J. Croker. Size: 47.5mm. Queen Anne (1703-1712). Issued to celebrate the victory at Douay against the French. Obverse has Queen Anne laureate bust left, hair tied with pearls, ANNA AUGUSTA around; Rv. shows Victory attaching a shield to a triumphal column amongst captured French trophies, VALLO GALLORVM DIRVTO, in exergue, ET DVACO CAPTO, MDCCX, in the background Britannia chases a Gaul.
