Owner Comments:

Warwickshire-Kempson's, D&H-257, MS-64 BN. Edge: Coventry Token. Rarity: Scarce - Nice dark chestnut toning with proof field as you would expect from a proof 64. The obv. shows "Remains of Cathedral" but which cathedral is it? I'll do a little more research I guess. The dark spots on the rev. aren't as bad as they look in this picture as the token is much darker than the picture looks. This is the first token in a series of churchs, gates, halls and so on and so forth. This is another series that I'm trying to complete. There are 19 obverses, and a bunch of diff. reverses. I have 9 so I'm not even half way.
