Owner Comments:

Warwickshire-Coventry, D&H-269, PF-63 BN. Edge: Coventry Token. Rarity: Scarce. - What a great token. Worthy of a higher grade for eye appeal alone. Very proof looking and some nice blue, green and magenta along the reverse rim. You may notice that the battlements have been added in recent times. This was done around 1931-32 when a second session of restoration took place and the gardens around the gate were built. Photographs from 1910 show Cook Street gate with a flat open top while the present day photo shows the battlements replaced. This is the 6th token of the series.
