Owner Comments:

This is the earliest medal associated with the Exposition. Essentially a "Good For 25 cents" coupon for Kleinhan's store in Buffalo. The Expo opened May 1, 1901, and coincidentally this advertising token was redeemable during the store's Anniversary week May 1-6, 1899, two years earlier to the day of the start of the Expo.

A lovely and flashy piece, but holed. Ex-Lavin.
