This 1922 Peace Dollar is uniquely toned and definitely original to the holder. Like my similar American Savings & Loan dollar (in the red holder), this one was no doubt offered as a complimentary gift when opening a new account. Circa 1960s-70s. The holder has a couple of small cracks in it...it is a wonder any of these survived at all!
