The coin obverse features Lady Godiva, an 11th-century Anglo-Saxon noblewoman known for her legendary naked ride through the streets of Coventry, England. The coin's statue often depicts nudity, which is a significant part of Lady Godiva's story that conveys elegance, femininity, and courage.
