PCGS lists this generation as generation 2.2 in its holder hall of fame.
Conder suggests this is a very brief transitional generation used by PCGS for the last couple of weeks in Dec 1989. PCGS shows this generation as being used from Dec 1989 thru Jan 1990 Only a couple of minor differences between this and the prior generation. First is the lack of perforations on the label, and second the certification numbers are shifted slightly overhanging the left side of the barcode. I consider myself lucky to have two examples of this generation in my collection.
